Visiting the Duang Prateep Foundation

The Duang Prateep Foundation welcomes visiting groups by prior appointment. To schedule a visit, please contact the International Section by email, fax or post (contact details are below). Please give information about possible dates and times for a visit to the DPF, group numbers, language requirements, brief information about the group and any special requests.

Visits to the foundation usually last about 90 minutes and include a talk about the foundation, a 15 minute video, a question and answer session, a visit to the Duang Prateep Kindergarten, a tour of the local community and a shopping opportunity at the DPF handicraft shop. The discussion can take place in Thai, English, Japanese or German. The video is in Thai, English or Japanese. We provide light refreshments to visitors.

There is no charge for the above service, but a donation to the work of the foundation is appreciated. Lunch can also be provided by prior arrangement, but we expect visitors to pay for their meal.

Information on visiting and volunteering:

The Duang Prateep Foundation appreciates the many people who volunteer to help the work of the foundation. However, we cannot possibly accept the very large number of applicants we receive and at the same time effectively manage our work with the disadvantaged in our society. Therefore, at the present time we are not likely to be taking in volunteers unless they have Thai language ability. We especially welcome Thais who have been studying abroad who are looking for work experience in Thailand. For more information on volunteering and student internships with the DPF click HERE.
