Annual Candle Procession Ceremony

On 23 July, Khru Prateep, Khru Mingporn, Khru Sasinun (Director of the DPF Kindergarten), teachers, kindergarten students, senior citizens, guardians and Ms. Susanne Joechim (volunteer) participated in the annual candle procession ceremony to mark the beginning of the Buddhist Rains Retreat, which was held in advance of 29 July. The ceremony began with participants preparing the procession before marching together through the community. Four child representatives dressed in traditional Thai costumes rode on the parade float, while other participants walked alongside the procession. Upon returning to the DPF Kindergarten, nine monks conducted a religious blessing ceremony. Following the ceremony, everyone shared a communal lunch with food generously brought by the participants, creating a warm and meaningful gathering for the community.
