Opening the Door to the Future: Thai Students Prepare for Careers in Elderly Care in Japan
Khru Prateep Ungsongtham Hata, Founder and Secretary-General of the Duang Prateep Foundation, along with Ms. Ladapharn Praesrithong, Project Manager of the “Care-Giver for the Elderly Program, led a group of 18 students from various schools and universities—soon to begin a caregiving training course visited to Mr. Tatsushi Nishioka, Minister at the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and Mr. Akiyoshi Suzuki, Second Secretary at the Japanese Embassy. This meeting was a meaningful opportunity for Thai students to broaden their perspectives, exchange ideas, and draw inspiration as they prepare for careers in elderly care in Japan—equipping themselves with language proficiency, cultural awareness, and the compassionate mindset essential to the profession. We sincerely thank the Embassy of Japan in Thailand for their warm hospitality and unwavering support, which continues to play a vital role in creating future opportunities for the youth of Thailand.
