Nestlé (Thai) Continues Support

Recently, Mr. Shahzad Umar (Human Resources Executive Director) at Nestlé (Thai) Co. Ltd. and his team visited the Duang Prateep Foundation for discussions with Khru Prateep about the company’s ongoing co-operation with us. Nestlé (Thai) has been kindly supporting the foundation’s work for 34 years, especially the New Life Projects in Chumporn (NLPC) and Kanchanaburi. Mr. Umar also presented a generous donation of 300,000 baht from the company to be utilized for agricultural activities and youth development at the two rehabilitation centres. In the past NLPC received a multi-purpose building courtesy of the company. They also supported a successful coffee growing project by donating seeds and sending Nestlé (Thai) staff to teach NLPC staff how to cultivate coffee trees, among other supports.
