Duang Prateep Foundation Welcomes Pilgrim Community

On July 23, the Duang Prateep Foundation (DPF) welcomed 70 visitors from the “Pilgrim Community.” Khru Prateep and Dr. Tatsuya Hata greeted the group and gave a presentation on the foundation’s general activities and the current housing issues faced by the communities. Prior to the presentation, the visitors were taken on a walking tour of the local communities to observe daily life and the living conditions in the Khlong Toei slum. They also had the opportunity to see some activities of the kindergarten students.  The Pilgrim Community is an independent non-profit organization based in South Korea. It supports people in need both domestically and internationally. The organization regularly brings together high school seniors, social workers, and volunteers from countries including South Korea, Philippine, China, Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, India and etc. to engage in volunteer works. We thank them for their interest in our activities.
