On 28 and 29 January, the foundation was pleased to welcome 125 Japanese students from Kansai University High School who were here to learn about the realities of life in slum communities. Khru Prateep and Dr. Tatsuya Hata (Senior International Advisor) gave informative lectures to the visitors, who were keen to understand the people’s everyday way of life, the problems they face, and the solutions the foundation puts into effect to help them in their struggles. In addition to the knowledge gained from the lectures, the students also participated in recreational activities with the children at the Duang Prateep Kindergarten and the Lock 1-2-3 Children’s Center.
