New Aussie Friends

We were pleased to welcome two new friends from Australia on 19 June, Ms. Moira and Mr. Michael Dobson. They are friends of Ms. Claire Berger, who planned and launched our English language classes at the Duang Prateep Kindergarten and nearby primary school. The Dobsons donated some snacks and essential things for the children, and were impressed with our Montessori classes and English classes in action. Later, they provided lunch to children. They also inspected the kindergarten playground that Khun Claire and husband Khun Tim and their friends helped to redevelop, before meeting with “Bam” and “Feung” (DPF staff members) who were invited to Australia by Khun Claire to study English language there. After a full morning, Moira and Michael rounded out their visit with a walk in the community to observe the living conditions of the people.
